SRINAGAR: Life returned to normal on Tuesday after remaining paralysed for two days in Kangan in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, where a student, who was injured on April 3 in security force action, succumbed in a hospital.

However, class work in Government Degree College (GDC) and Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) in Kangan remained remained suspended as precautionary measure.

Shops and business establishments reopened this morning and traffic was also plying normally on all routes. Work in government offices and banks was also normal.
