JAMMU: Excellence always come at the cost of toil. Our sanskritians validated this assertion by emerging as winner in Interschool debate held at Aps Damana which was organized by The Tribune: one of the leading newspapers in the state of Jammu n Kashmir and was sponsored by Chitkara. We always believe in leaving a trail wherever we go and continuing the same trend our student Vedanth Mohit of class 11th clinched Third Prize in the competition in the midst of all elite schools.
Achievement is easy but maintaining the standards is difficult. There were 13 teams and 26 participants who expressed their perspective on Artificial intelligence –a bane or boon. According to Vedanth we have to reduce our dependency on artificial intelligence. Our another Sanskritian Himanshu of class 11th has also participated and has remarked that artificial intelligence helps development across the globe.
The competition was adjudged by Dr Vivek Sharma, Senior Assistant Professor, department of lifelong learning, University of Kashmir and Dr Kumar Sourab, Assistant Professor Computer sciences department, GGM science college Jammu. Many esteemed personalities like Brig Abhijit Chandra of 19 infantry brigade and the chairman of Aps Damana was the Chief Guest at the event while Arun Joshi Senior President Editor The Tribune J and K was the Guest of Honour.
It was a moment of pride and honour to be felicitated by Principal cum Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima who serves as a resource provider, instructional specialists, a learning facilitator and a mentor for the students. She felicitated our Sanskritians and while congratulating she asserted it does not matter whether we win or lose what matters is performing in a way which would enlighten the audience and steer them from ignorance to expertise.
