Participation in ‘Swachhata He Sewa’ mission a noble cause: CRPF

  • Cleanliness drive was carried out at GMCH together by CRPF and GMCH staff.

JAMMU: Under the ‘Swachhata He Sewa’ mission, various Jammu based Battalions and Institutes of Central Reserve Police Force are carrying out extensive cleanliness drives in their respective areas. In pursuance of same, on 01.10.2018, cleanliness drive was carried out at GMCH together by CRPF and GMCH staff. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent GMCH appreciated CRPF for organizing such programs. He said that if we keep ourselves and our surroundings clean and hygienic, it will directly make us feel energetic and invigorate. He further said that on one hand, officers and personnel of 166 Bn CRPF are giving exemplary security services at GMCH and on the other hand, by organizing such programs they are spreading a noble and prosperous message to the society. 

After administering ‘Swachhata pledge’ to doctors, officers and staff of GMCH and officers and personnel of CRPF and citizens present there, Nitu DIG CRPF Jammu Range expressed gratitude towards officers and staff of GMCH and said that by participating in such programs, a message has been given to the society. During her exhortation, Nitu also thanked GMCH Jammu, on behalf of entire CRPF family, for providing better treatment facilities to CRPF personnel. 

While talking about the remarkable understanding between 166 Bn CRPF and GMCH Jammu, Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant 166 Bn reiterated its commitment to remain associated with GMCH in such noble causes. The participation of civil public present there in cleanliness drive with CRPF and GMCH personnel also spread a positive message in the society. 

In this cleanliness drive, personnel of GMCH and CRPF participated enthusiastically and carried out cleaning of the area. Among others present during the program were Dr.Anusuya Jamwal, P.O. Associate Hospital, Dr.Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Assistant Medical Superintendent, Dr.Rajnish Kumar, Medical Record Officer, Dr.Sanjeev Gupta, Casualty Medical Officer of GMCH, Anil Kumar Second-in-Command of 166 Bn. CRPF and other personnel of GMCH and CRPF.
