POONCH: A residential house was partially damaged and people were confined to houses as India and Pakistan traded fresh fire along the line of control in Jammu division’s Poonch district on Wednesday.

Reports said that in an exchange of firing at Krishna Ghati Sector of Mendhar area in Poonch, a residential house belonging to Mohammad Sharf at Nar Mankote suffered damages.

Reports also suggest that due to the continuous shelling and firing, the people have restricted their movement and have confined themselves to their houses.

SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padyar told, The shelling started at 3 pm and continued intermittently thereafter.
