JAMMU: As a goodwill gesture, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday sent back a Pakistan national who was apprehended on Friday on the international border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district. 

Muhammad Ashraf, 60, a resident of Boi village in the Narowal district of Punjab in Pakistan, was apprehended by BSF troopers while he was trying to cross over to the Indian side in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district, an official said. 

As a Goodwill gesture and maintaining peace and tranquility at International Border, the BSF handed over to the Pak Rangers,the official added.
