UDHAMPUR: Police today rescued 12 bovine animals at Sangoor Chowk, NHW Udhampur.

Giving details Rajiv Pandey, IPS SSP Udhampur said, today a Police Party of PS Udhampur led by Insp Vijay Singh Choudhary SHO PS Udhampur under the supervision of Rohit Chadgal DySP Hqrs. Udhampur and Rajinder Kumar Katoch Addl. SP Udhampur laid a naka at Sangoor Chowk,NHW,Udhampur for checking of vehicles. 

During checking of vehicles,police party intercepted two tata  mobiles vehicles bearing registration no.JK19 6928 and JK02 AV 8576 for checking. 

During search of said vehicles, 12 bovine animals were found loaded in both the vehicles without any valid permission.All the bovine animals were rescued and the acussed namely  Junaid Kasana S/O Gh.Nabi R/O Lowermunda, Kashmir,Aslam S/O Alam Shah R/O Barnala Digdol Ramban and Mohd. Yousuf S/O Mohd. Hussain R/O Bathindi Jammu were arrested on spot. 

In this connection,cases under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation is going on.
